First of all, as much as you can, as much as is in your power, STAY away from White elephant gift giving things. Its so hard to pick a present that anyone would want, and you always show up feeling kind of stupid about your gift. And leaving feeling slightly underwhelmed with what you got.
I know some people love those, but to me its more stressful than picking out a gift for your father in law.

For grandparents who live far away:
Skylight Frame:
This frame lets you send pictures that then appear on the skylight frame. Its a fun way to keep grandparents stocked up with recent grandkid pictures.
Photo books of the grandkids- of course, this takes time to create. By next year there may be an AI option to make this easier. Seems like shutterfly is always having some coupon codes to make this more affordable.
For the white elephant gift party you couldn't get out of:
Nice comfy pajamas. Everyone likes soft jam jams, and you can buy large if you don't know who will be getting the gift.
you just have to double check where its shipping from, otherwise it might show up after christmas.
Along the same lines is a large soft comfy hoodie
This one is from Popflex, its supposed to be the lambourghini of hoodies so it is a bit steep at $64.
IF THE WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT NEEDS TO BE FUNNY:
Cofee table book
This isn't so funny but fun to look at and have sitting out on your coffee table. And I feel it does qualify because some of those humans are pretty funny looking.
A classic
Thats all I have for the funny category. Its hard to find something funny that will also be used. You can always go the fart putty route but depends on your audience's genre of humor.

Another thing, why does a gift always have to contain at least 3 elements? Candle, chapstick, candy always seems like a must to throw in . Not sure who invented this rule, but it does fluff up a present nicely.
