NEW YEAR, NEW PCP!!
well not entirely but we did re-arrange our site some.

SNOW!!!
Snow is SO RARE here. Ive only seen it snow once, and it came and went in half a day. When the snow warnings went out we didnt pay attention or ramsack the grocery stores like the rest of the town. Got to leave work early on Wednesday, went home like haha everyone is freaking out theres nothing.
then bam it came down and just kept coming!! and coming!! So we did what any person would do in this situation- went to the beach!!!
At night the snow was all the way up to the waves, very wild to see the waves coming in on snow. Couldn't really get any pictures the wind was blowin hard and lotsa snow coming down. We did go back the next day tho

So of course the next day schools and 99% of businesses closed and we found the only hill in wilmington( which just happens to be on the side of the freeway) and went sledding and snowboarding. Lot of other people had the same idea.. people were using beach blow up chairs and boogie boards as sleds
Only downside of this is that the heat wasn't quite working for a bit. On Monday when I came home the house was 58 degrees. Got it working partially but the house was still in the low 60's. After a little research online, here was the solution.
Covering the doors and windows with blankets for added insulation and to keep the heat our. ella slept with 9 blankets all stacked on each other. When things got real cold we would turn the oven to broil and sit by it.
No worries yall!! the house is now at 70 degrees, lucia finally figured out what "auxillary heat" and got things rolling.
Which is good cause Saturday is a low of 11 degrees. which is insane here.As in, NEVER HAPPENS

OTHER UPDATES
Marla and Tya are still in the great PNW. and missing out on all the fun snow..we miss them and need them back asap.
Mayme is headin back out west in 2 weeks :( she had a bomb time at home and decided West is Best so away she goes..
We are cherishing the last little bit of time we have left with her
Mayme and Ella came home Sunday, Lucia Monday, nothing like going home. Always so fun to see all the relatives and family and friends and the HUGE TALL evergreens and the wet mossy saturated place. Lovely lovely
