Before you decide this looks too complicated, hear me out that its kind of like ordering your favorite Starbucks drink. There's a lot of moving pieces, but with enough repetition you can do it on autopilot, and the final result is worth the effort. After the first few times it is an easy weeknight meal. Budget friendly and very flexible on ingredients

Ingredients:
1 lb Chicken Breast
Chicken Broth*
4 eggs
Sesame seeds
Canola oil
Sesame oil
Garlic
Green onions
Fresh basil (optional)
Red pepper flakes
4 packages ramen
Soy sauce
*If you want to feel morally superior, use my recipe for rotisserie chicken bone broth. Store bought chicken broth is also great, and also just using the ramen seasoning still makes a great final product

Directions:
First, make your chicken ( click here for a video on Perfect Grilled Chicken).
While your chicken is grilling, measure out ¼ c canola oil and heat in a separate pan. Add 2 hearty spoonfuls of garlic. Grill until the garlic starts to darken, take off heat and mix in sesame oil. Pour into a separate container, and set aside.

doesn't look that fantastic, but will completely transform the broth flavor
3. Using that same pan, throw in a few tablespoons of sesame seeds and mix them on medium heat until they are a nice golden color. Pour seeds into a small container.
4. Now lets get the eggs going. You want the egg yolk to be runny, so if you have cheap walmart eggs, boil for 4 minutes. If you are using the heavy duty organic we-have-better-morals-than-everyone-else eggs, go 5-6 minutes. These eggs have a thicker shell so need a bit more time. Once the eggs have boiled for their appointed time, immerse immediately in cold water.
5. Pour the chicken broth into a pot and turn the heat up
6. Get a separate pan of water boiling for the noodles. Cook the noodles according to package directions. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and place in a separate bowl.
7. Chop up your green onions and basil and place in a small bowl.
8. When your chicken broth is warmed up, turn the oven heat to low and keep the broth on the stove. The key to good ramen is warm broth, you don’t want the broth to get to a weird room temperature for your second and third helping.

9. Now you have made all the key ingredients, here is the fun part! Assembling the bowl. Start by putting the noodles in the bottom of the bowl. Cut your egg in half and add a splash of soy sauce in the yolk. Add the rest of the toppings, and the broth last.
10. Eat with chopsticks, obviously
